I remember when this came out and it was an instant love for the song and Sammy as an artist. Now anytime there's a road trip it's a must to play while driving....THANKS SAMMY for all the years of great tunes
This song came out when I was 18, drove my little red car jamming to this entire album (casste tape) LMAO! Still to this day, I can't drive 55! My mom was from Long Beach and met my dad (a navy officer) moved to cincinnati, had kids. You know the story. She died when I was 15. After that I always dreamed of going back to California, in a sports car driving down A1A with Sammy. It was a way to deal, I delt, am successful and still love the tunes!
cant drive 55 is my favorite song, it is my theme song too. im 14 and i know that Sammy has played for montrose,Van Halen,Hagar,The Wabos,The Waboritas, and Chicken Foot. Wooooooo went to concho Oklahoma concert.
