I am also staying there and yes great place to stay. I stayed two years ago and ran into other RedHeads. You can't beat the closeness to the hotspots and view.

There’s usually quite a few red heads at the Tesoro. It’s in the marina, a straight 4 minute walk to the Cantina. Got a great deal booking a Jr suite by the pool directly with the hotel. See you in Cabo! ~ Phillip

I didn't realize Sammy's Beach Bar & Grill in St. Louise was closed. That bums me out. We stopped there before the Sammy concert in 2013 and had dinner and drinks. It was a good time. Now I will have to find someplace else to hang out before the concert. Any ideas?
That sounds great kvilla3569, we plan to spend lots of time at the pool lol. I will be with my best friend & we are still looking for tickets. Same here on the dinner show tickets.. depends on the line.

The line to get your wristband(s) is usually longer than to get in. You will want to be early to get them, and then getting at show time is easy. You can be so close as to slap hands with the band. The sets are usually specialized for these shows. There have even been duets with Sammy and Kari.
Got tix for first two nights!!! Making my first trip. Who can give me the scoop on details?? When do folks start getting in line before the show??? Is it possible to get within a few rows to stage?? What's capacity??
Do u thinks set list will be similar to the other circle shows??

Sandy C - I too will be staying at the Finisterra but will be there the 5th-11th. We should meet up at the pool and commiserate together not getting picked, lol. I would love to buy a ticket from someone as well but have other friends with me and know that would be next to impossible for us all to get tix. Might try for a dinner show.....depends on the line.
Mysticredhead - Sammy's beach Bar and grill has been closed for a couple years and Harrah's is now the Hollywood Casino. Sorry for the bad news. we always stopped there before concerts and miss the place.

I actually live about 3 hours from St. Louis and yes me and my best friend will be at the show in St. Louis on Aug 15th. I am in the Right section, Row M. We already have our trip to Cabo booked and we fly out of Kansas City on Oct 8th. It would be awesome to meet up in St. Louis. We will be at the Sammy's Beach Bar & Grill at Harrah's in St. Louis before the concert.

A lot can happen between now and October, but my experience has been that if you get to the Cantina before the line forms, you can usually find at least one or two people that have a spare ticket. The key is to be early and keep asking! I won’t actually know if I’m using my second ticket until the day of the show on the 7th, so who knows? I’ll post something the day of the show, or shoot me your e-mail address and will let you know. You can send private messages on this board by clicking someone’s photo\Icon or click on their username. Then click on the “contact” tab at the top left. Only 62 Days left, but who’s counting!!

I also am bummed by the draw. All my husband wanted for his 50th birthday #bucketlist. My neighbour got two tickets to the show on the 7th (he's single) but if anyone needs a "date" I would be more than willing to buy their spare ticket. This way we could all attend. Please, oh please let me know. We have been so upset since the drawing :(. Still holding out for the second chance draw though!

Your welcome for the response. I got breakfest with my stay at Tesoro. It is a decent breakfest. I stayed at RIU Santa Fe one year had a VERY BAD experience and vowed never to stay there again.
OMG...after so many years of trying....I GOT SHOW NO 1....OMG...now how the hell am I gonna get to Mexico?????HELP>>>will have extra ticket if I can get there.....any suggestions...

Thanks for the heads –up. I’ve stayed at the Windham\Tesoro before. I’m working to secure a room by the pool this time. Not a deal breaker, but I’ve a got great offer at the Riu Santa Fe. Tesoro rocks because it's staggering distance to the venue and the marina vibe is cool too. The included breakfast meets my humble needs. Be there Oct 6-15 so hope we all meet up at some point! They used to have some related events on Tabasco/Medano beaches "white sand sure makes a tan look nice" FDIC, looking forward to any news about potential Red-Head festivities! ~ Phillip

You might want to look into the Tesoro. It is in the heart of the Marina. You can walk to all the major clubs of course CaboWabo included. There are always other RedHeads staying there. I am myself there the 9th to the 14th, and have read at least 6 others will be as well.
I think the people that won last year should have been grandfathered in for this year, since it was basically cancelled.. I also agree that if you win 1 show your name should be removed so that others can get to see the party
I too agree with kvilla3569V and Sandy C, but not sure how to persuade the powers that be. My buddy won too, so we might have an extra ticket – his GF backed out!
I agree with kvilla3569. I didn't get tickets to even one show yet I see that many people got tickets to multiple shows. Once you get tickets to one show they should remove your name from the drawing so more people get a chance to go to at least one show. I'm praying for tickets in the 2nd chance drawing and I will be in line for the dinner tickets because this is my one & only chance to go to Sammy's birthday bash. I am sure my husband won't let me go to Cabo again, I had to beg for years to get this trip. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and I am so bummed that I didn't get tickets! I guess I will still be rockin in Cabo the 8th through the 14th. I will be staying at the Sandos Finisterra so if anyone that got tickets doesn't have a guest/date I will pay good money to go to a show. At least I have tickets to see Sammy in St. Louis on August 15th!! I love you Sammy!!!!
Finally, after 5 years I got tickets! Notified yesterday on my birthday no less! Been to Cabo several times, looking to stay somewhere near the Marina. Stayed at the Riu Palace, but a bit to stuffy – not enough Red! Suggestions welcome! ~Phillip
So bummed I didn't get picked AGAIN! Was able to go in 2013 because my friend got picked but last year out of the 10 people I know that registered, none of us got picked....(even though the shows were cancelled).
What really stings is to see some people get picked for 2 or more shows yet all these others get zero. Really think they should remove your name from the drawing once you have been selected for a show so more chances for more people to see Sammy! Oh well, waiting for the 2nd chance drawing, but either way, we'll still be rockin in Cabo for a week!!

How long does the draw take?
